We have decided that some Poetry Readings would be a most appropriate activity for our High Tea on International FM Day. So we are inviting you all, whether you are professional poets, amateur poets or closeted poets to send in some short poems that you have written that you would like to read out for our pleasure and entertainment at out High Tea. Perhaps this will be the beginning of your literary career! Forward your poetry to my new email address below and we will let you know if your poems are selected from the many we are expecting!

For those of you, who have not yet booked your place at out wonderful afternoon event, we have a few places left!

Details are as follows:

This year we are commemorating International Fibromyalgia Awareness Day with a “High Tea” on Saturday afternoon 12th May 2012 at The Water Wall Room at the old Pagoda in Como. As Sunday 13th May is also Mother’s day treat your Mum to a special afternoon tea a day early!

Pre bookings are essential.

Cost: $30.00 pp.

Donelle will give you the options for payment. Bookings cannot be confirmed until payment is received. Also let Donelle know if you have specific dietary requirements such as gluten free selections. There will be bar facility available for those who wish to purchase drinks.

It took its place close to the wall

Peering action upon the corridor

Hidden, yet free ……

A yellow canary

Contemplating the open door

From the gilded border.

To be or not to be free

Is that not the question?
